With that standard policy, you should return plants within 90-days from the purchase date in-store or delivery date if you ordered online. However, not all plants are the same, and not all of them are covered with the same return policies. So, there are regular plants that include flowers (like roses, hydrangeas, Dipladenia, hibiscus, and lavender,) house plants, and succulents.
On the other hand, there are trees, perennials, tropical plants, trees, and shrubs that can be returned within one year. It’s because there’s a Home Depot’s Grow a Garden Guarantee for Bonnie plants which include:
- Sweet mini plant,
- Jalapeño hot pepper plant,
- Green sweet bell pepper plant,
- Sweet basil plant.
Although the company guarantees a harvest, you’ll get a full refund in case the Bonnie plant doesn’t produce from March to October – the growing season. It practically means that the refund will be the original plant and Miracle-Gro solid price.
Most companies like Home Depot have a standard return policy. They allow their customers to have a refund for unused and new items they want to return within 90 days of purchase.
